Summary
As an Expeditor at Prairie's Edge Casino Resort, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and efficient food service within our restaurant operations. This position is essential for maintaining high standards of hospitality while enhancing guest satisfaction through effective communication and coordination.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor food presentation and quality before it reaches the guests.
- Assist in managing inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to kitchen staff.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling.
- Support kitchen staff during peak hours to maintain efficient operations.
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to enhance guest experience.
- Participate in training new team members on service standards and procedures.
- Assist with banquet preparations as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in Food service environment is required.
- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic culinary knowledge is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional hospitality.
- Must pass a State and Federal background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
Shift differentials of $1.00/hour extra for 4:00 p.m.- midnight and $2.00/hour extra for midnight - 8:00 a.m. We also offer a generous benefit package with Health, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, Employee Discounts, Paid Time Off, Vacation, and 401k - with a company match.
