POSITION SUMMARY
Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests of the hotel.
Hiring for Full Time, shifts will include Evenings, Overnights, Weekends, and Holidays.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests of the hotel.
- Contact housekeeping or maintenance staff when guests report problems.
- Make and confirm reservations.
- Issue room keys and provide directions to the room.
- Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests.
- Verify customers' credit, and establish how the customer will pay for the accommodation.
- Keep records of room availability, guests' room folios and room cancellations.
- Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, guest registration, and travel directions, or make recommendations regarding shopping, dining, or entertainment.
- Advise housekeeping staff when rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaning.
- Transmit and receive messages, using telephones or telephone switchboards.
- Follow Casino and department policies and procedures, including all safety and service procedures; adhere to the Prairie's Edge Chain of Command.
- Support the Vision and Mission Statement's of Prairie's Edge Casino Resort.
- All other duties as assigned.
