Housekeeper, Full-time, 10am-6pm
Summary
As a Housekeeper at Prairie Senior Cottages, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our residents. Your efforts will directly contribute to the dignity and comfort of those we serve, ensuring that our facilities reflect the high standards of care we uphold.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing resident areas.
- Ensure all common areas are kept clean and organized to promote a welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens.
- Maintain cleanliness of carpets and floors through regular cleaning routines.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and staff while performing duties.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or residential cleaning preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with residents and staff.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new cleaning techniques or protocols.
