Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Small Business Technical Assistance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing technical support to entrepreneurs, small business owners, agri-businesses, and landowners. This position involves planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs, conducting community seminars, and offering relevant training sessions to various audiences.
This position may pay more than the minimum proposed salary listed above, depending on experience and / or qualifications of the selected candidate.
Responsibilities :
- Provide technical assistance to entrepreneurs, small business owners, agri-businesses, and landowners on financial resources, business planning, marketing, budgeting, efficient agri-business practices, and business development issues.
- Support county staff by developing curriculum and providing instruction to support programs such as the Businesses-In-Development state contracting program.
Conduct community seminars on small business lending, government contracting, understanding credit, debt management, youth entrepreneurship, asset building, etc.
