Job Description
The Postdoctoral Researcher will work closely under supervision to conduct various research projects related to Agricultural and Applied Economics.
This position is funded by a grant or restricted funds. Continued employment is contingent on the renewal of grant or restricted funding.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct new research projects on food systems, consumer behavior, markets and trade, and other agricultural and applied economics areas.
- Assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in smoothly implementing ongoing research projects, writing research manuscripts and progress reports, and assisting graduate and undergraduate students.
- Develop project proposals for internal and external grant funding in collaboration with scientists and faculty in the college and pursue external collaboration.
- Regularly participate in disseminating research results at professional conferences and extension meetings.
- Participates and assists in college-wide events, activities, committees, and performs other duties as deemed necessary.
