Job Summary
The MDS (Minimum Data Set) Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring complete, current, and accurate medical records for our residents. This position requires knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, as well as proficiency in Point Click Care (PCC).
Responsibilities
Compile information, prepare statistical reports, and data from health records for evaluation of quality of care and utilization review
Confer with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare personnel to ensure accurate medical records
Perform on-call duties as needed
Qualifications
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the applicable state, without restrictions, and/or ability to obtain state-specific license
Proficient with Point Click Care (PCC) preferred
Able to work on-call as needed
