Data Solution Architect- Data Mesh Chicago, IL- 3 days Hybrid Long Term Contract Pay Range ($65- $75 / hr) Our direct Client is looking for Data Solution Architect for Data Mesh project. Responsibilities : Lead domain data teams in implementing Data Mesh construct & methodology. Design and enable custom, secure data workflows and pipelines for data product publishing. Collaborate with business partners, architects, and engineers to create data enablement solutions. Analyze, recommend, and implement data ingestion, curation, and publishing solutions. Develop custom DataOps automation for domain teams; train and empower teams in mesh practices. Advocate for data technologies, bridging gaps between current and future states. Share engagement solutions and outcomes to improve future project delivery. Skills & Experience : 8 years in data services and architecture, cloud or enterprise environments. Expertise in tools like Talend, Nifi, Databricks, or dBt. Proficient in languages : Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL, Scala, XQuery, etc. Hands-on experience with DevOps, DataOps, MLOps, and automation (Terraform, Ansible). Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure), database technologies (Oracle, Postgres, SQL Server), and polyglot databases (Snowflake, MongoDB, Cassandra). Familiarity with data mesh architecture, data security (Voltage, SecuPi), and cloud analytics tools (Synapse, Kinesis). Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
