About the Role
">We are seeking a qualified and experienced Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Prairieband LLC. As a Physician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to our patients.
">Responsibilities
">- Conduct comprehensive examinations and accurately diagnose health-related conditions of individuals seeking care.
- Presume and execute therapies in accordance with clinical privileges.
- Provide education to patients regarding their health conditions and promote preventive healthcare measures.
- Maintain detailed records of patient interactions in accordance with established protocols and complete all necessary medical documentation.
- Uphold clinical privileges granted by the facility's governing body or the Service Unit Credentials Committee.
- Actively participate in medical staff functions, including quality assurance activities and organizational meetings.
- Support the ongoing education and training of Indian Health Service and tribal staff as requested.
- Deliver medical care and public health services across various community settings, including homes, schools, and clinics, within the Service Unit.
Requirements
">- Must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
- Must be Board Eligible or Certified, Board certification in Family Medicine.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Willingness to comply with all state and federal regulations regarding medical practice.
Preferred Qualifications
">- Experience in an IHS facility is preferred.
- Prior Locum Tenens experience is advantageous.
