We invite you to join our Medical Clinic team in Cass Lake, Minnesota as a Physician. This is a full-time contract/locum position for an IHS Family Medical Clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive examinations and diagnose health-related conditions of individuals seeking care.
- Prescribe and execute therapies in accordance with clinical privileges.
- Provide education to patients regarding their health conditions and promote preventive healthcare measures.
- Maintain detailed records of patient interactions and complete necessary medical documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Family Practice or Internal Medicine as an MD.
- Experience in an IHS facility is preferred.
- Prior Locum Tenens experience is advantageous.
- Current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
- Board Eligible or Certified, Board certification in Family Medicine.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Shift Schedule:
This role involves 8-hour shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
Contract Details:
The contract is offered for up to a 1-year contract, with potential options for extension.
