Responsibilities :
he Associate Therapist, AID is responsible for triaging crisis phone calls, assessing and consulting with the on-call physician to determine level of care and coordinating admission to the inpatient unit with hospitals and other professionals in the community.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities :
- Complete admissions based diagnostic assessments to develop provisional diagnoses with clinical oversight of a licensed supervisor
- Facilitate admission to an appropriate level of care including the inpatient unit, residential care, partial hospital programming, or intensive outpatient programming
- Coordinate direct admissions to the inpatient unit with referring professionals from other hospitals or within the community
- Provides effective customer relations pursuant to the policies of PrairieCare
- Be oriented and educated in gender, cultural differences, and age-appropriate care for the assigned department.
- Able to provide back-up for therapists and perform other clinical duties within scope, as needed
Hours : Monday Friday 8 : 00 - 5 : 00pm
