Position Overview:
We seek an experienced Financial Advisor (5 years) to join our team. This role involves managing client relationships, overseeing investment portfolios, developing advanced financial and tax strategies, and providing tailored financial planning services. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping clients achieve clarity and confidence in their financial journeys with a keen focus on understanding our client’s values.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients.
o Conduct regular reviews to assess goals, progress, and evolving needs.
o Communicate complex financial concepts in a clear, relatable manner.
Financial Planning & Strategy:
o Develop customized financial plans addressing college funding, retirement readiness, and tax efficiency.
o Offer solutions for real estate transitions, philanthropy, business succession, and Social Security/Medicare planning.
o Support clients with caring for aging parents and advising adult children financially.
Investment Management:
o Create and implement investment strategies aligned with client objectives and risk profiles.
o Monitor portfolio performance and recommend adjustments as needed.
Advanced Tax Planning:
o Develop and implement tax optimization strategies.
o Coordinate with CPAs or tax professionals on complex cases.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
· 5 years of experience in financial planning or advisory services with direct client interaction responsibilities.
· CFP®, CFA®, or CPA® designation (or progress toward certification) preferred.
· Strong understanding of investments, tax planning, and comprehensive financial planning.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Familiarity with financial planning, tax planning and retirement income software.
· Business development is NOT a key function of this role. The ideal candidate will be interested in working directly with clients and supporting the team’s vision of service and team-centered growth.
