PAY RANGE: $165,000 - $180,000 / year
Compensation is determined based on your experience and qualifications.

Lead Agronomy Associates and Crop Specialists in developing customer relationships through effective marketing and sales strategies. Maintain strong customer relationships to uphold a positive brand image. Utilize product expertise to drive sales of crop inputs, services, and ag-finance programs, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, lead, and develop Crop Specialists and Agronomy Associates by setting expectations, providing feedback, and ensuring performance standards to drive business growth.
Assist in developing and executing marketing plans, budgets, and sales strategies to drive profitability and organic growth.
Drive profitable sales growth in the assigned territory through targeted marketing, sales team management, competitive analysis, and compliance with regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Encourage Crop Specialists and customers to participate in myFS Agronomy and MiField trials.
Collaborate with Agronomy Marketing Manager and other Area Agronomy Marketing and Sales Managers.
Offer agronomic products, services, and recommendations to customers and prospects.
Conducts regular patron meetings on product and technical information.
Set sales objectives by forecasting, projecting sales volume, and developing quotas in coordination with other company divisions.
Create field sales action plans to ensure a unified company approach aligned with directives from the Agronomy Marketing Manager.
Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures within the product sales team.
Encourage cross-selling among all department salespeople within the assigned territory.
Works directly with selected prospects and customers as needed to grow sales.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or equivalent experience and knowledge of spreadsheet functions and computer systems.
Preferred knowledge or experience in production agriculture or sales.
Be able to obtain a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with required endorsements (e.g., HazMat, Tanker) within six months of employment and maintain a clean driving record.
Must obtain and maintain applicable professional certifications associated with the agronomy industry (i.e., CCA, CCS, CPA).
In-depth knowledge of crop physiology, soil science, pest control, and nutrient management.
Experience with agricultural technology and precision farming tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and agronomy software.
Basic understanding of agronomic principles and practices.
Experience in fieldwork and data collection is preferred.
Physical ability to perform fieldwork and operate equipment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication skills to effectively advise customers.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple customers.
