Overall Summary
The Restorative Aide is responsible for helping residents recover physically, emotionally, and mentally by providing rehabilitation care. The Restorative Aide works with licensed nurses and therapists to develop the restorative care plan.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide restorative care to selected residents
- Report response to restorative programs to nurse and therapists and work with them to modify the goals, if necessary
- Identify potential restorative program needs and reports to nurse and work with them to implement the programs
- Motivate residents to participate in restorative programs
- Document treatment activity in the EMR
- Follow appropriate safety, hygiene, and infection control measures
- In the event of a pandemic or emergency situation, your job duties may adjust to serve in the role of frontline staff to ensure all resident needs are met
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Current Illinois CNA Certification
Current CPR Certification
