A successful candidate must not only bring a positive, energetic attitude but will also be responsible for detailed cleaning and ensuring the highest level of quality is maintained at all times, specifically related to cleanliness and guest care.
The caretaking staff maintains our premier properties including but not limited to Prairiewood Retreat & Preserve, the historic Eames Building, and Sunset Cottage.

Tasks & Responsibilities
- General housekeeping including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, dusting, bathroom cleaning, laundry, making beds, filling bird feeders, watering flowers, blowing/sweeping walkways, and resetting outdoor furniture as needed.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct
- Ensure proper maintenance of all equipment, appliances, etc.
- Communicate all concerns in need of repair, replacement, or damages to the supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge & Job Qualifications
- Desire to take initiative and pride in daily work
- Previous experience in customer service, specific to housekeeping is preferred
- Ability to lift 25 pounds, as this job requires chair/table set up responsibilities
- Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to our various locations
- Ability to multitask
- Capable of using independent judgment to guide proper decision making
