What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position at Praise ABA?
As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with clients implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You’ll play a crucial role in helping clients reach their developmental goals and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, school, or community settings
- Collect accurate data on client behavior and skill acquisition
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with BCBAs, parents, and team members
- Maintain RBT certification and participate in ongoing training
Qualifications:
- Must be a certified RBT in good standing (BACB registry)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field (preferred)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background check and TB test
- Passion for working with children and individuals with special needs
