Job description
Prance Around Pet Services, Inc. is looking for a fun, energetic, professional, and trustworthy animal lover to join our team of pet care professionals. We are an established company and have been in business since 2006 and we are now in the process of STARTING to expand to Frederick County.
This position will NOT start off immediately with any clients since we are just establishing ourselves in the area. We need someone on board who is ready and willing to take on new clients as we get them. This position is perfect for someone who is retired and has open availability (primarily evenings and weekends but also some daytime availability would be preferred) to accommodate our client requests as they come in.
Responsibilities:
- We are looking for individuals with OPEN evening and weekend availability. Our employees can be scheduled to work anytime between 5 and 8 p.m. on weekdays and between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturdays AND Sundays.
- All applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Applicants must live in or near one of our servicing areas which include the following cities: New Market, Linganore-Bartonsville, Ijamsville, Urbana, Monrovia, New London, Spring Ridge, Walkersville, Mt. Pleasant, Ceresville or Frederick (21701 or 21704 ONLY).
- Applicants must have their own insured vehicle to get to and from their scheduled pet care assignments.
- Applicants must be looking for long term employment. If you are looking for a temporary position until you find a permanent job or return to school, please do not apply.
- Because most of our work is "on the road", we require all employees to have access to a mobile phone at all time. The mobile phone must be a smart phone as the software we utilize requires an internet connection. Employees are expected to respond to management texts and calls during business hours of 8 a.m. - 8 p.m., 7 days a week, as necessary.
