Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience in coordinating medical/dental schedules and dental records preferred. Good communication skills are required. Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet applications (windows or equivalent) required. Dental assisting and experience working with children preferred.
Responsibilities: The receptionist's overall responsibility is to support the work of PRASAD CDHP dental clinic
· Arrange the clinic schedule with the school personnel and deliver dental applications
· Prepare schedules, school notifications, coordinate with the school nurses and parents/guardians
· Schedule patient appointments
· Escort children to and from the mobile dental clinic. Ensures the safety of the children.
Reception and Administrative Support
- Support the reception area and answer the phone
- Help with the mail
- Provide general administrative support.
Dental records
· Check patient eligibility and history. Contact dental insurance and other institutions
· Contact patients or parents/guardians regarding appointments and treatment
Institutional Administration
· Assist with overall program and main office tasks, including mailing, and monthly statistics.
