Intensive In-Home Counselor/IIC and Intensive In Home Therapeutic for Children with Intellectual Disabilities/IIH

Prasada In Home is in need of Intensive In Home Counselors for North Jersey Counties referred youth and families. We serve Morris, Sussex, Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Somerset, Warren, Hunterdon, Hudson, Monmouth Counties are currently expanding into Central NJ. Bi-Lingual speaking a plus.

* Must be willing to go into homes unless otherwise specified as telehealth by referring agency.*

PRASADA In Home offers therapeutic counseling, coaching and health care services in the homes and communities of Northern New Jersey families, the ideal environment to promote healing, growth and support for emotional well-being. It offers services within two healthcare segments; children and family services that provide mental and behavioral health counseling and coaching. In addition PRASADA In home offers therapies and supports for Autistic children and children with intellectual and developmental delays. Prasada In Home offers evidence based interventions and solutions to family's whose children face challenges associated with ADHD, Mood Disorders, Trauma related disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders among others. As a Intensive In Home Counselor for Kids with Mental Health and Behavioral Challenges or In Home Therapist for Children with Intellectual Disabilities you will:

• Provide therapeutic crisis counseling services to children and families in their home. Telehealth is optional based on families needs.
• Focus on child assessment, treatment planning and quality care. Instruction in learning adaptive frustration tolerance, self-regulation, and expression, which may include anger management
• Teach Stress Management
• Focus on crisis stabilization for short term therapeutic work.
• Teach children and caregivers strategies to help manage the child's symptoms.
• Deliver care based on evidenced based practices and must be in compliance with agency policies and regulations.
• Social Skills development and Problem Solving Skills
• Parent training and support
• Provide individual clinical supervision for In Home Behavioral Assistants.
• Collaborate with Mobile Response and Stabilization and Care Management Care Managers.
• Complete treatment plans and progress notes in EHR in accordance with state and agency guidelines.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey License for Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Associate Counselor, Licensed Social Worker.
• Minimum 2 years experience working with children with mental health and behavioral challenges and/or autism or other developmental delays.
• Bilingual in Spanish or other language preferred, but not required.
• Experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy strategies and methods or
• Experience in Dialectic Behavioral Therapy strategies and methods.
• Certification in Floor Time a plus
• Experience in Art therapy, music therapy, play therapy a plus.
• Valid NJ Drivers License.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills a must.

Job Types: Contractual, full time, or part time. Prasada now offers benefits for Full time providers.

Rates:

Contract: $50 - $78/hour based on experience, licensure, additional languages, and certifications.

Fulltime: $62,000 - $72,000/year based on experience, licensure, additional languages, and certifications.
