Job Summary :
The Senior Buyer is responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services while
ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. This role requires strong negotiation
skills, supplier relationship management, and the ability to analyze market trends to make
informed purchasing decisions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet business needs.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability, and delivery capabilities.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value improvements.
- Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent quality and service.
- Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and supplier performance to mitigate supply risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, finance, and product development, to ensure procurement aligns with company goals.
- Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve supply chain issues efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions within procurement operations.
