Technical Director - eCom
As the Ecommerce Technical Director, you will oversee the operations of Pratt.com’s online platform, working closely with developers, marketing, and content teams to ensure seamless site functionality, third-party integrations, and performance optimization. A key aspect of your role will be driving the continued development and enhancement of Pratt.com’s features, functions, and product catalog, ensuring the platform evolves to meet business needs and customer expectations. You will also manage integrations with customer platforms, including marketplaces and B2B portals, to facilitate smooth product sales, order processing, and data synchronization for an exceptional user experience. Additionally, you will lead the execution and optimization of paid advertising, content strategies, and SEO initiatives, ensuring alignment with Pratt.com’s ecommerce goals.
Duties
- Team Leadership & Development :
Manage a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and ecommerce specialists to ensure seamless day-to-day operations of the Pratt.com website.
Lead the ongoing development, maintenance, and optimization of the Pratt.com ecommerce platform, ensuring a seamless, high-performing, and user-friendly experience.
Oversee and implement integrations with third-party vendors, customer platforms, such as marketplaces, B2B portals, and other sales channels, to ensure seamless product listings and order management.
Provide support for the execution of paid digital advertising campaigns, ensuring seamless integration with Pratt.com’s ecommerce platform and data structure.
Monitor the performance of the website, including site speed, security, uptime, and user experience.
Serve as the key liaison between technical teams, marketing, operations, and executive leadership.
Ensure the ecommerce platform is compliant with all security standards and regulatory requirements.
Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and budget management to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
Education and / or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree
Candidates are PREFERRED who offer the following :
Language Skills
Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate. Able to apply concepts of high school math.
Reasoning Ability
