What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corrugator Floater 2nd Shift position at Pratt Industries?
Corrugator Floater
Reports to: Corrugator Supervisor
Responsible for all activities associated with running the BHS Corrugator including set up, operation, clean up and recommending improvements to operations.
- Follow LOTO procedures.
- Assist each positions in the corrugating department throughout the shift.
- Communicates with corrugator supervisors on a constant basis throughout the shift.
- Prioritize tasks assigned by shift supervisor or manager.
- Assist the crew and supervisor in all areas of safety, quality and performance.
- Ensures the plant is ready for the next shift.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regulary lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and or move iup to 100 pounds.
