Job Title:
Summary:
Responsible for all activities associated with stacking the equipment and helping the operators including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow all company safety guidelines.
- Ability to read production sheets.
- Quickly identify a quality defect and communicate immediately to machine operators.
- Quality checks using micrometer, tape measure, etc.
- Able to read a tape measure up to 1/16" variance.
- All units have an accurate load tag and the appearance meets plant's requirements.
- BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS (Data Entry).
- EXCELLENT VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
- Ability to add, subtract, & multiply.
- Able to work extended work hours and weekends, as needed.
- SELF-MOTIVATED.
- Able to work in varying temperatures.
- PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE & CONDUCT.
- PERFORMS OTHER JOB-RELATED DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
Requirements:
- HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED.
- PREFERRED CANDIDATES HAVE PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE CORRUGATED INDUSTRY.
- 6 MONTHS EXPERIENCE AS A BUNDLER.
Languages Skills:
Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate. Able to apply concepts of high school math.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form. Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.
Technical Skills:
- Working knowledge of equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation.
- Product layouts and production specifications.
- Product quality specifications.
- Quality standards.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
May be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License.
