About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Material Handling Leader to join our team at Pratt Industries. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our warehouse department.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including forklift operators and shipping/receiving personnel, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of products, ensuring proper handling and organization of materials on a daily basis.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory management to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Supervise and train forklift operators in loading trucks efficiently and safely while meeting customer expectations for product handling.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Forklift Operator and/or Truck Driver.
- Minimum of two years of prior supervisory experience in a warehouse or production environment.
- At least one year of experience in shipping and receiving operations.
