What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Assistant position at Pratt Physical Therapy?

Job Description

Pratt Physical Therapy is looking for an enthusiastic team player with the desire to learn targeted manual techniques and the willingness to grow with a company.

New graduates are welcome to apply pending licensure / credentialing on July 10th, 2018.

The employee will be responsible for providing the highest quality interventions for patients by administering treatment programs as established by the Physical Therapist.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to :

Assess patient condition using knowledge of basic biological and medical science.

Implement patient treatment plans and administer them under the direction of the Physical Therapist.

Instruct patients on physical therapy interventions, modalities, and home exercise programs.

Provide the physical therapist with information about the patient’s response to treatment, including objective data documented in the patient’s medical record.

Complete all required clinical documentation accurately and efficiently.

Utilize PT Technicians for patient care and supervise accordingly.

Supervise PTA students, if applicable.

Maintain a clean and safe physical environment.
