What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health Aide position at Pratt Regional Medical Center?
Summary
Job Summary: Provides quality care to patients in their own homes. Essential functions include, but not limited to: Assists with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, ambulating, meals, medication reminders, safety with ambulation, may help with other services in the home as requestd by the client. To be supervised by an RN and will follow a care plan for each patient.
Job Qualifications: Home Health Aide license for the State of Kansas. CPR certified. Must have a sense of loyalty, responsibility, moral integrity and common sense. Requires basic computer literacy, including word processing functions, use of the internet, and computer-based education. Keyboarding ability is required. Successful candidates should be ready to use information technology in a meaningful way in order to improve patient outcomes and ensure patient safety. Must complete and pass background check, pre-employment drug screening, orientation requirements and competency testing.
