Furnace Technician Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Furnace Technician to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machinery maintenance and repair, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair furnaces and auxiliary equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in the installation and removal of furnace lids and coils.
- Operate PIVs safely and efficiently.
- Disassemble and reassemble the atomization chamber during alloy changes under supervision.
- Make minor repairs on furnaces and other equipment using verbal and written instructions.
Requirements
- A high school diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
- The ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and wear a respirator.
- Strong communication skills and mechanical aptitude.
