What You Will Do

  • Columbus Forge, a recognized leader in producing disks and airfoils for the aerospace propulsion market, is looking for dedicated individuals to support our organization.   • We have an opportunity for a MCL Quality Technical Team Member to be based in Columbus, GA. (onsite role)
  • Shift 1st WD Mon, Tue, Wed, Thurs, 6AM – 4:30PM
  • The principal duty of this position is to provide leadership support to the MCL team and ensure smooth and efficient operations. This position will require high level of practical application of technical knowledge. Excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills are needed for a team-oriented work environment. This position requires a mechanical and technical aptitude and an ability to follow work instructions. Comply with all environmental, health, and safety requirement. Set up and operate process equipment in all assigned areas. Read and understand blueprints and work from written and verbal instructions. Perform basic shop mathematics and use basic measurement instruments Service and repair equipment associated with the area where problems are identified.
  • Assist in the development of other team members.
  • Assign daily tasks
  • You are expected to act in a mentoring capacity; openly shares skills and experiences with others to grow and develop team members
  • Motivate and encourage others to help team achieve success
  • Coordinates and ensures that short and long-term goals provided by leadership are completed timely.
  • Communicate daily, weekly and monthly requirements across the shift and take proactive measures to ensure that these requirements are being met.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • 4 years in Quality
  • Leadership experience
  • Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
  • 2-year technical degree
  • 2 years experience in MCL/Sonic/FX

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is - . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
