What You Will Do:
The Parts Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing and organizing the inventory of non-product parts in the company’s maintenance parts crib. This role involves working hand to hand with MROs, retrieving parts for maintenance personnel, and maintaining accurate records. The specialist will also serve as the gatekeeper for the non-product parts crib, ensuring the proper handling and tracking of all parts during the high traffic shifts.
- Retrieve requested parts for maintenance personnel in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all transactions, including part retrievals and receipts.
- Ensure that parts are stored in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
- Manage inventory levels and notify appropriate personnel when reordering is necessary.
- Serve as the gatekeeper for the non-product parts crib, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access, and that inventory is well-controlled.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the parts crib.
- Collaborate with maintenance and procurement teams to address inventory needs.
- Become the gate keeper of anker pak and ensure that all items are stored properly and the procedures are being followed.
- This position is first shift (Daytime Weekdays)
Qualifications You Must Have:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with various departments.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move parts up to 25lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
