Job Summary: Provides leadership support and directly oversees FAA-sensitive work.
This is a 1st Shift position: Monday – Thursday 5 am – 3:30 pm
This is a 2nd Shift position: Monday – Thursday 3:30 pm – 2 am
This is a Weekend position: Friday – Sunday 6:30am – 7pm

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

Pratt & Whitney Columbus, GA is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing as a pre-employment contingency and is also subject to ongoing random testing as an employee per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.

What You Will Do:
- You will be the front-line Supervisor in your cell directly supervising the first point of contact for Disassembly, Assembly, Inspection, Materials, Engineering, Customer Service and Quality
- Facilitate Morning Tier 1 SPS meetings with your team so everyone has a clear understanding of the day’s expectations.
- Monitor and ensure processes meet company objectives, goals and targets
- Direct material flow and communications through proper channels
- Monitor/ensure discrepancies and material holds are dispositioned appropriately and timely
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or Repairman Certificate
- 4 years’ Pratt & Whitney experience in aviation mechanic/inspection and has obtained inspection stamp
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Leadership experience
- Experience in DIVEs, QCPC, and CORE
- Experience in engine overhaul and repair, GTF and/or F117, PW2000, in one or more of the following disciplines: Disassembly, Inspection or Assembly
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
