Job Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Production Technician for our facility in Theodore, AL. This 12-hour shift position will alternate between nights and days and report directly to the Plant Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for learning all aspects of our Hydrogen production process, including the Steam Methane Reformer unit operation and PSA Process. They will also be required to operate the computer control system for the plant, read and interpret P&IDs, equipment manuals, and company procedures, monitor process performance, and make adjustments as needed.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in electrical and mechanical systems and experience working with computers.
Key Responsibilities
- Learning all aspects of the Hydrogen production process, including Steam Methane Reformer unit operation and PSA Process.
- Operating the computer control system for the plant.
- Reading and interpreting P&IDs, equipment manuals, and company procedures.
