Job Overview :
Linde is seeing qualified applicants for out Pipeline Technician role. The successful candidate will be based out of the Pipeline Operations office in La Porte, Texas. This position will repair and maintain pipelines and equipment associated with the operation of Linde gas pipelines along the Texas Gulf Coast area. The candidate will use preventive and predictive maintenance practices to champion continuous improvements to Linde Pipeline system.
Primary Duties Include :
- Inspect, operate, and maintain gas transmission pipelines, as well as associated equipment in a reliable / efficient manner in accordance with company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Install pipeline coatings and wrap application to aboveground pipelines.
- Complete and process work orders.
- Assist with pipeline right of ways (ROW) maintenance activities; includes but not limited to signage, mowing, weed control and other required task.
- Actively participate in safety programs and initiatives.
- Assist Pipeline Technicians with commissioning and decommissioning of pipelines.
