Process Technician I

Job Description:

Linde Gas & Equipment, Inc. is seeking a Process Technician I located in White City, OR. As a key member of our team, you will process gas cylinders to support internal and external business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe working environment by maintaining a keen eye on safety protocols.
• Conform to all site-specific and Linde policy and procedures.
• Perform a variety of processes related to cylinder preparation, handling, filling, and shipping and receiving functions.
• Execute SAP Transactions to maintain streamlined stock and sales order flow.
• Participate in tasks associated with stock and sales order realization, including cylinder requisition, record recording, data management, and record handling.
• Capture and record basic operations data to ensure process optimization and product quality.
• Support raw material and product inventory maintenance.
• Review raw material specifications for conformity.
• Provide feedback and participate in potential High Performance Organization (HPO) projects associated with operational processes.
• Maintain basic system functionality.
• Enter Work Requests into Maximo for required maintenance.
• Ensure a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Mechanical aptitude is necessary.
• Ability to perform basic algebra and unit conversions.
• Fitness to perform duties where respirators are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
