We are currently seeking a Production Technician for our facility located in the United States. This position is a 12-hr shift position, alternating nights and days, and will report to the Plant Manager.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Learn all aspects of hydrogen production including but not limited to Steam Methane Reformer unit operation and PSA Process with the goal of being able to troubleshoot any deviations that may risk reliability or efficiency of the plant.
- Learn and operate computer control system for the plant.
- Read and interpret P&IDs, equipment manuals and company procedures.
- Monitor process performance and proactively make appropriate adjustments to remedy deviations and align to the specified norm.
- Operate units to continuously supply products at the appropriate quantities and qualities, safely and economically, complying with all environmental regulations and daily customer requirements.
- Perform inspections of equipment and daily preventative maintenance tasks as required.
- Safely troubleshoot, maintain, and assist in the repair of mechanical systems including valves, piping, pumps, fans, motors, etc.
- Perform lock-out tag-out, correctly, and safely permit maintenance work, and oversee contractors as necessary.

- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- 2 or more years Production Operations experience preferred.
- Strong interest in and experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
- Have a working knowledge of computers and typical computer programs (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft applications).
- Proficiency with a variety of hand tools, meters, instrument calibration equipment etc.
- Working knowledge of electricity, electrical systems, and motors.
- Must be able to climb ladders and steps, lift up to 50 lbs., and work at heights.
