What are the responsibilities and job description for the Architect/Construction Project Manager position at Praxis Design Build?
PRAXIS DESIGN/BUILD SEEKS AN ARCHITECT/CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER
We are a mid-sized residential design/build firm looking for a Residential Designer, Architect, or Architecture Intern with experience in Construction Project Management who is capable of managing design and construction projects from pre-design lot assessment to completion of a punch-list.
We require the following:
Design training and experience which can be demonstrated by a portfolio of design projects which have been built. Experience should demonstrate client relations and leadership in all phases of design. Candidates must be expert at Autocad and Sketchup. Prospective applicants will be expected to work in-person on our tight-knit team and be able to conform their work process with our design and drafting standards
and;
Experience in construction execution, including familiarity with bidding, managing construction schedules, managing a field crew and subcontractors from permitting through turn-key completion.
Expertise in Excel.
Many on our team are bilingual, some are primary Spanish speakers, so the ability to speak Spanish is preferred.
