What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNO PM - Clearance Required position at Praxis Engineering?
Program Manager
Managing a team of (20 ) technical professionals spread across multiple programs. Working closely with internal stakeholders (management, recruiting, contracts, accounting etc.) and external customers to meet business goals.
What you will be doing:
- Executing one or more programs, reporting to the Praxis VP and being accountable for your program(s)’ contribution to the P/L center
- Develop and Maintain relationship with Prime Contractor leadership in order to effectively and efficiently satisfy mission requirements, and develop staffing strategy accordingly
- Create, Manage, and Maintain program metrics as required, such as staffing metrics, revenue and earnings plans/actuals, etc.
- Liaison with corporate Business Development to determine the landscape of future competitions including follow-ons, adjacent markets, and emerging market opportunities
- Develop and delivery presentation material (PMR, PSR, etc.) to Government and Corporate audiences
- Develop and maintain staffing plans, including vetting & interviewing program and company applicants
- Manager direct reports’ career growth, including advancement and technical opportunities, by developing training recommendations, conducting annual performance assessments, and maintaining a fair and competitive compensation plan
What you need:
- Strong Collaborator with the ability to build strong relationships, familiar with recruiting and hiring/onboarding processes, strategies, events, tools, lessons-learned, etc.
- Clear, effective, empathetic, persistent, and confident leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience effectively leading technical staff
- Formal Program Management experience
- Understanding of program/project financials
- Strong business acumen
- Alignment with company values and ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
- Strong MPO customer and mission knowledge
- PMI PMP or DAWIA certified
We desire the following:
- Software development backgroun, familiar with principles, skills, frameworks, languages, timelines, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to organically grow programs, especially as a subcontractor
- Proposal experience
- Program Management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics/Physics, Information Technology, or related field from accredited program/institution
- 10 years of project/program leadership experience. Education level, certifications, and direct technical experience can be substituted for years of Program leadership experience.
Clearance:
Active TS/SCI with an appropriate polygraph is required to be considered for this role
Salary Range:
$132,918.00 - $287,470.00 (Annually)*
