Praxis Resources, Inc., a custom manufacturing and prototyping company, is seeking
Experienced Manufacturing Technicians for its Gilbert, Arizona manufacturing facility.
Job Description: Defense Manufacturing Technician
Manufacturing technicians are responsible for completing project builds. Technicians are
required to read customer drawings and develop a plan for building projects. During projects,
technicians will be called upon to solder connectors and wiring, to strip and tin wires, and crimp
contacts on wires.
Essential Requirements for a Manufacturing Technician:
Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC-620 and J -Standard
Ability to solder connectors and wiring, crimp contacts on wires and strip and tin wires
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and blueprints is a plus
Experience in building cables and/or electronic & electromechanical assemblies is a plus.
Praxis technicians are involved with a wide variety of projects; we are constantly seeking new
projects and new opportunities. This provides our technicians with the ability to constantly learn
and to expand their knowledge.
Additional Qualifications and Technical Proficiency:
2 years experience
Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of designs
Knowledge of production processes in a related defense industry preferred
Keen analytical abilities to interpret complex data and drawings
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
This is an on-site position and candidates should be professional, dependable, and
punctual.
