Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the daily operations, service technician performance, and equipment readiness at our service yard. This leadership position requires expertise in HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems, along with a strong background in service coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the service yard, ensuring that all equipment is properly stored, maintained, and ready for use while adhering to safety standards.
- Manage and mentor service technicians, providing guidance and training to ensure high performance and consistent skill development.
- C coordinate service technician schedules to ensure adequate coverage for equipment installations, maintenance, and repairs. Ensure resources are aligned with project timelines.
- Provide hands-on technical support when needed, troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues, and performing service duties as required.
- Review service tickets and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) to ensure accuracy and completeness, and ensure all necessary documentation is submitted within 24 hours.
- Ensure safety compliance and provide support in managing incidents, conducting investigations, and maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.
- Maintain accurate inventory of tools, equipment, and consumables in the service yard, and collaborate with the Global Fleet Manager for equipment maintenance and repair needs.
- Monitor service technician performance, reviewing timecards, service records, and billing documentation to ensure accuracy and timely submission of work orders and invoices.
- Manage yard cleanliness and safety by ensuring that equipment is properly stored, the yard is free of hazards, and waste is disposed of in accordance with safety protocols.
- Foster clear and consistent communication with other Local Service Managers, the Operations Manager, and the Global Fleet Manager to maximize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures that improve team performance and safety.
- Support inventory management by ensuring the timely ordering of parts, supplies, and repairs, and by reviewing vendor invoices and purchase orders.
