Warehouse Sort

If you have great focus, attention to detail, and the desire to get things done right, this is the job for you. You can expect to sorting items, unload trucks, and load products onto conveyor belts.

Job Details:

• Pay: $18/hr
• Hours: 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, occasional Saturday rotation
• Type: Full-Time
• Location: 11835 Smith Ave., Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670

What You’ll Do:

• Scanning, facing, sorting, and receiving variety of packages
• Assist with the sort production line in warehouse
• Clean sort production area by sweeping, moping, and dusting
• Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies
• Sort route codes to conveyor belt
• Remove defective or damaged items
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous customer service experience is a plus
• Basic computer skills and or experience working in a sort environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Communication Skills including ability to listen and follow directions
• Organizational skills in sorting and prioritization
• Meet service level requirements and throughput rates
• Maintain a professional work environment
• Ability to perform detailed tasks in a repetitive environment while maintaining a good attitude and work ethic

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Must be able to perform repetitive standing, sitting, stooping, walking, stretching, and use full range of body motion
