Job Summary
The Office Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office by providing administrative support and assisting with various tasks. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills.
Duties
- Manage office tasks such as filing, data entry, and document organization
- Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
- Provide customer service by answering phone calls and responding to inquiries
- Support office staff with administrative tasks as needed
- Assist with proofreading documents and correspondence
- Handle front desk duties including greeting visitors and directing them appropriately
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with colleagues and clients
- Ability to manage multiple calendars and appointments efficiently
- Previous experience in a medical receptionist or personal assistant role is advantageous
- Familiarity with office operations and procedures such as file management and front desk responsibilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.70 - $22.86 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
