Description
Elena’s Way, a Preble Street Wellness Shelter, provides shelter and intensive support services to 40 individuals experiencing homelessness and complex physical and mental health needs, in a 24-hour trauma-informed environment grounded in social work and medical best practices.
A Client Support Staff position with a part-time, 1st shift schedule is currently available in this service-inclusive, client-centered shelter program. As part of the team providing comprehensive services to individuals accessing the Wellness Shelter, Elena’s Way Client Support Staff outreach and engage with clients, provide direct services and program coverage, maintain safety in program spaces, provide crisis intervention and support, and assist in case management activities.
The schedule for this part-time (20 hours/week) 1st shift position is Sunday - Wednesday schedule, 8:00am to 1:00pm.
Qualifications
The hourly rate of pay for this part-time (20 hours/week) position is $22.45 per hour. As a direct service position in a 24/7 program, this position is eligible for shift differentials of $1.00 per hour for all hours actually worked between the hours of 7:00am and 10:00pm or $2.00 per hour for all hours actually worked between the hours of 10:00 pm and 7:00 am.
This position is eligible for the part-time benefits program, which includes sick time and paid time off; eligibility to enroll in the 403(b) retirement plan with employer match; eligibility to enroll in the health and dental insurance plans with pro-rated premium contributions; and access to the Employee Assistance Program.
