We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team of volunteers at Preceptor Home Health & Hospice. As a hospice volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit with patients in their homes, providing emotional support and companionship
- Assist with daily tasks and activities, such as reading, watching TV, or playing games
- Listen to patients' stories and reminisce about their lives
- Provide a comforting presence and support to patients and their families
Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- Pass a TB test and background check
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- Complete an orientation and training program
