Major Tool & Machine is looking for an experienced painter. Our Painter will perform all related tasks to customer specifications. MTM has customers in the Aerospace, Defense, Power Generation, and Semiconductor Manufacturing. Parts are usually custom and very large.
Duties:
• Perform equipment checks on paint booth daily
• Record paint usages daily
• Perform paint related tasks on both steel and aluminum components
• Maintain paint equipment
• Accurate data entry
• Perform inspection verification
• Keep paint booth clean and organized
• Review customer drawings for paint requirements
Experience
- 2 years industrial or automotive painting experience required. Some mechanical aptitude required.
- Experience using Gravity Fed HVLP’s
- Use of Wash Primers, Zinc/Inorganic Zinc Rich Primers, Epoxies, and Urethanes. Mil Spec experience preferred.
- High school diploma required. Vocational or technical school preferred but not required.
