Assistant Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, focusing on their overall development. This role involves working closely with toddlers and young children, fostering their growth through various educational activities and play.

Duties

• Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans that promote literacy education, math skills, and childhood development.
• Provide care and supervision for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Support children with special education needs by employing effective behavior management techniques.
• Communicate effectively with children to encourage engagement and participation in classroom activities.
• Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to promote a collaborative educational atmosphere.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Experience

• Previous experience in early childhood education or childcare is preferred.
• Knowledge of toddler care practices and principles of childhood development is essential.
• Familiarity with literacy education, math concepts, special education strategies, and behavior management techniques is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that supports the diverse needs of all students.
