Precious Memories Childcare is a childcare in Stockton, CA that provides infant and preschool programs. At Precious Memories Childcare, our mission is to nurture and inspire children through intentional, knowledgeable, and reflective practices, with play at the center of our curriculum.
As a Preschool Floater, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. Your primary responsibility will be to support various classrooms within the preschool, ensuring a smooth transition between activities and assisting teachers in implementing educational programs.
*Duties:*
- Assist in implementing classroom activities and curriculum development to enhance children's learning experiences.
- Support teachers in maintaining a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Engage with students to educate and promote literacy education, fostering a love for learning.
- Utilize your experience working with students to provide individualized attention and support as needed.
- Implement behavior management strategies to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support special education needs and childhood development initiatives.
- Provide assistance with daycare routines, including meal times, nap times, and transitions between activities.
*Qualifications:*
- 12 COLLEGE UNITS ECE/CHILD DEVELOPMENT
- Previous experience working in a preschool setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with special education techniques is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and routines.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is desirable.
