Precipart is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineering Intern to join our Supplier Quality Engineering team. As a Supplier Quality Engineering Intern, you will gain quality knowledge of the medical device, aerospace, and commercial industries.
Spring Internship Opportunity
12 Weeks : Monday, February 10, 2025, to Friday, May 2, 2025
Hours : 10-20 hours per week
Responsibilities :
Assist with preparation of First Article Submissions, PPAPs, and Process Qualifications from suppliers
Maintain information on Approved Supplier's List for accuracy
Evaluate supplier nonconformances and customer complaints to drive corrective and preventive actions from suppliers
Track and trend supplier metrics, support supplier improvement plans
Update supplier records or files
Requirements :
Preferred Major : Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other technical degree
Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of Manufacturing Industry a plus
