We are looking for a skilled Process Piping Designer to join our team in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop engineering drawings, details, and isometrics (AutoCAD/Revit) based on process P&IDs, general arrangements (GAs), piping specifications, and equipment drawings.
- Conduct site surveys to document existing conditions and identify utility connection points.
- Provide construction administration support and perform fieldwork as needed.
- Coordinate designs with other disciplines and vendors to ensure project alignment.
- Apply knowledge of cleanroom protocols and industry regulations in system design.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the AEC industry, specializing in Process, Mechanical, or Plumbing piping systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, and Revit, along with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience designing mechanical, process, and plumbing systems, including clean utilities, process exhaust, PCW, UPW, specialty gas/chemical systems, and specialty Drains.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
- Piping design with a focus on Process or Mechanical, or plumbing systems.
