Precise Forklift Mobile Mechanic LLC continues to seek and hire full-time Technician this essential position that needs YOU to come and join our CREW to help support our economy in these uncertain times.

Purpose of Job:

Perform daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance; make major and minor adjustments and repairs to heavy equipment through the valley. Interact with the customers and retaining relationship by responding to service request and completing quality work with a quick turnaround time; complete and submit work order forms and reports daily. Safely operate forklift/heavy equipment and vehicles assigned. Follow oral and written instructions, assist with other duties, as required.

Knowledge of:

• Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions common to heavy equipment operations
• Working knowledge of the methods, material, and tools used in maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment such as Hyster, Toyota, Raymond, Drexel, Clark, etc. And Aerial Equipment such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc.

Skills in:

• Operation of power tools, hand tools and equipment
• Detecting major and minor mechanical defects and major and minor repairing
• Thoroughly carry out oral and written instructions
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors, and the public
• Ability to make independent judgments which have considerable impacts on the organization
• Time management; attention to detail
• Providing efficient customer service
• Communicating effectively, both verbally and written
• Operating company devices such as cellular phones and various software applications

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, and smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Specific hearing abilities required by this job include close hearing, distance hearing and the ability to adjust to hearing.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee constantly works in outside weather conditions. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to wide temperature range from wet and/or humid conditions and vibration. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risks of occasional exposure to hazardous work conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Work Schedule:

• Able to work 5 day/40 hours work week from 7am to 4pm Monday-Friday
• Differential pay would apply to work hours scheduled after 4pm Monday-Friday and weekends
• Willing to work holidays
• Available for on-call rotations

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent or 
• 2 years field experience operating forklifts/heavy equipment/vehicles and making major/minor repairs
• Forklift/OSHA Certifications is a plus 
• Must provide own tools
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must be 18 or older
