Job Description
Position Summary : The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within a manufacturing environment and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP.
- Manage and perform month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Conduct cost accounting and inventory valuation for manufacturing operations.
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, providing variance analysis and reporting.
- Conduct inventory cycle count program, work with operation to investigate root cause and advise on inventory control improvement.
- Collaborate with the Controller to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation, not limit to bank reconciliation.
- Assist with new software implementation, specifically, AP Automation.
