Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various aspects of pipefitting, including welding, and fabricating. This role involves working on construction sites, installing and repairing piping systems for industrial plants among North Carolina & South Carolina. The Pipefitter will be responsible for ensuring that all installations meet safety standards and function efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of piping systems.
- Install, repair, and maintain piping systems.
- Fabricate pipe sections as needed to fit specific project requirements.
- Use tools to measure and cut pipes accurately.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project completion according to specifications.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in various environments.
Requirements
- Ability to pass a short fitter's examination.
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions on construction sites.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
