Position Overview
The BizTalk Administrator role involves providing technical support services for BizTalk applications. The position requires proactive monitoring, reporting, and maintaining BizTalk environments, as well as mentoring staff and ensuring adherence to SLAs. The ideal candidate will have experience with database administration and BizTalk and associated technologies to ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
This role will provide BizTalk administrator support services with tasks that will include :
- Support all existing BizTalk-based data integration processes.
- Provide BizTalk Server Instance Reports as required. These are automatically generated reports that are designed to alert staff about operational state of particular server(s) in case of its failure. The reports shall contain specific information on the outages, critical performance or infrastructure issues, possible root cause, etc.
- Proactively monitor capacity in production and test BizTalk Environments, and take actions as required to avoid degradation or outage.
- Actively transfer knowledge and mentor staff members on various aspects of BizTalk administration, configuration, and development.
- Maintain and update BizTalk administration documentation.
- Provide BizTalk monthly patching support documentation and update SOP for continuous monitoring with agency data integrations used by the job scheduler.
- Monitor BizTalk queue in the current help-desk management tool and distributing helpdesk tickets to appropriate support staff.
- Timely update all assigned BizTalk-related helpdesk tickets.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
